Meet the Puteri
As I promised some of you, here are some pictures of my trip up Gunung Ledang. It was a tiring 11 1/2 hour hike. It took us 5 1/2 hours to reach the peak and another 5 1/2 hours to come down. At least an hour or so of our hike down was in the dark. Seven of us went up the hill but, sadly, only 6 made it to the peak. If anyone else wants to go, I would recommend that you make a 2 day trip. That would be less taxing on them thighs, knees and ankles!

And whats with the black mushroom? Edible? XD!
i kinda thought the others would squat with me but i ended up squatting on my own. :( the picture of the ulat bulu got like that after a few attempts and the mushroom is still a mystery to me. i still cant find out the species name nor its features.
Maybe its a new one? I wont be surprised... ;-)

what happened to the person who didn make it to the top?!
it's so conspicuous i doubt it's new. and jo, the guy managed to get to the last checkpoint before the peak and he stopped there and waited for the rest of us to come back. he actually slept there for the 1 1/2 hours he waited. :)
LOL! Maybe he ate the mushroom....
I hear they are good, shall we say, 'anti depressants'. Yeah you chew on em and its like you turn the world into Plasma TV mode... ;P!
