The Mammalian Kidney

This one is to help with the kidney and excretion part. Remember, if you know the parts of the kidney and relate it to what happens there, it'll be easier for you to memorize the whole process.

sir, i face some prob in ans both of this question. can u help me on it or give me some clue for it

1) disucss adaptations for the elimation of nitrogenous waste when water is in short supply

2) outline the blood supply and drainage in the mammal of the villi and the changes occuring in the blood during its passage through the villi.

hi hui shan. sorry for the late reply.
1) maybe you can refer to this journal and find the answer there. (http://mollus.oxfordjournals.org/cgi/content/abstract/60/2/141). i cant seem to access the journal from here but maybe you can do it from your library.
2) are you asking about the villi in the placenta (chorionic villi) or the ones in the intestines? maybe simple information on the structure of the villi will help you answer the question of the blood supply and drainage. as for the changes, you can think in line of what is absorbed from the villi into the blood. that will help you know the changes in blood content when it passes the villi.
